Problem Note 54892: SAS® IT Resource Management release 3 might return "java.lang.ClassCastException" when you attach a Table Loader transformation
SAS IT Resource Management release 3 enables you to add transformations that support conditional processing in a job. If you attach a Table Loader transformation to either a staging or aggregation job, then you might receive an error similar to the following:
Exception in thread "BackgroundOperation" java.lang.ClassCastException:
com.sas.etl.models.job.impl.BaseMapping cannot be cast to
com.sas.solutions.itms.models.data.ColumnMapping
at
com.sas.solutions.itms.models.data.ITMSColumn.loadMappingFromOMR(ITMSColumn.java
:205)
at
com.sas.solutions.itms.models.data.ITMSColumn.loadFromOMR(ITMSColumn.java:184)
at
com.sas.solutions.itms.models.data.DataColumn.loadFromOMR(DataColumn.java:94)
As a result of this Java "ClassCastException" condition, the job cannot be opened in the SAS IT Resource Management client.
To circumvent the problem, do the following:
- Restore your SAS IT Resource Management environment from a backup.
- Create a new job for which you use the Table Loader transformation separately from the other SAS IT Resource Management transformations.
